Taking Collaboration and Innovation to Learning Institutions and Community-facing Organizations
While working with Columbia University undergrad, MBA and engineering students, we developed a learning-oriented Innovation Lab, recognizing that language, behavior, process and tools of collaborative innovation would be key skills for the 21st Century. We founded Innovation Builders to bring these tools and skills to a broader population, beyond business, with a key focus on Libraries, Education, Cultural Institutions and Non-profits. We adapted our programs for these organizations and developed the “EXCITE Transformation” series of Professional Development programs, and also began facilitating teams to innovate and conducting Innovation Learning Labs for communities and learners.
